ProWine Asia 2018 - Singapore
Monday 24th April - Thursday 27th April 2018
ProWine Asia 2016’s inaugural event in Singapore played host to 257 established wine producers and distributors from 30 countries. Held alongside Food & Hotel Asia (FHA), the collaborative crossover amongst the international food, hotel, and wine industries saw some 8.400 trade visitors from 54 countries including trade visitors, exhibiting staff, master class and seminar speakers and delegates during the four-day trade event.
A strong line-up of 15 group pavilions from 11 countries, namely Australia, Austria, Canada, Chile, France, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa and Spain further enhanced the international character of this first edition.
Attendees took the opportunity to learn more about wines and spirits through a series of master classes and seminars conducted by best experts in the industry from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, the Institute of Masters of Wine, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and Decanter among others. The first-ever Champagne Lounge in Asia was highly well-received and attracted many trade buyers with its exclusive and inviting ambience. Visitors were treated to an array of more than 25 different types of champagne – many of which were unique ‘first-in-Asia’ labels, by renowned champagne producers. In addition, oenologists were also present to provide professional advice on selecting and appreciating champagnes.
