Champagne Fluteau
House
Champagne Fluteau is a family owned estate founded in 1935. Located in the Southern part of the Champagne growing area, the Cote de Bars, reknowned for its execellent pinot noir grapes. The estate is now being run by the forth generation, Jeremy his sister Adeline. Together, they are passionate about continuing the family legacy and dedicated to producing high quality champagnes which reflect their unique terroir.
Wines
The 7 cuvées elaborated in our winery are mainly dominated by the Pinot Noir, the emblematic cepage of Aube region. The exception being our Blanc de blancs vintage made from our Chardonnay plots, which make up the remaining 15% of our terroir. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, and includes a complete malolactic fermentation; with a marginal amount vinified in oak barrels. Our bottles achieve a minimal ageing time of two and a half years and up to 8 for our vintages, ensuring the development of complex aromas and fine bubbles. Our champagnes are mainly extra brut, to preserve the freshness and authenticity of their flavors.
